What is safeguarding?

Safeguarding is a term that covers many things – all concerned with making sure learners are safe, healthy, protected from harm and enjoy positive wellbeing.

An important part of our role is to equip learners to deal with situations that put their well-being at risk, both in college and outside, and both now and in the future.
